Eclectic, soothing, & underground atmosphere. Very large selection of little-known microbrews. They also have a mint julep that is out of this world! A must try for first time NOLA visitors.

back in the day ... mid 80's , it was a popular hangout for HS kids
I first remember going there when I was 15-16 yrs old
normal FRI/SAT night routine consisted of the Boot, Metro, Sitting Duck for shots, AT II's, Fat Harry's for cheese fries at 2 am , then drive home at 4am

It was a pretty decent daytime hangout for the law students too. Cheese fries for lunch, have a couple beers, head back to class.
