I found a few posts from 2014 about it. Chef Pete Vazquez, formerly of Marisol, Bacchanal and Mimi's runs it.

Here's the Facebook page.

I'm a former regular of his most recent venture as the Hush Supper Club. Amazingly, I haven't been across the river to try App repair. Pete is one of the most (if not the most) daring chefs in New Orleans. He has more hits then misses, but it's important to remember he will have the misses. I know initially he was doing well in Algiers, but he often runs into business trouble.

If you're in town, I highly recommend seeking him out. He's as colorful a person as he is a chef.

I can't underseand why a restaurant hasn't snapped him up. I read an article in which he said how many resumes he sent out.

I don't know him personally, but I've known him from various food forums over 10 years.

I went once about 9 months ago. Everything we had was great and you can take home a lot of his precooked packaged appetizers and desserts. Negatives would be the wait time because he is in a small little area by himself and the fact it isn't very convenient place to get to unless you live in the Point.

Yea, it repairs your appetite. Meaning you leave hungry. Worse name than that Table Chair Bar and Light Fixture place.

I actually think the name is a breath of fresh air. It's a better name than the current trendy names that seem as if they were picked out of a Marketing textbook. Spoon, Fork + Table, The Napkin & Knife, et. al. need to die a quick death.

I'm not a name nazi but I think this one is dumb, however it won't keep me from eating there.

It's a terrible name. Just because there are worse names doesn't make it decent. The Appetite Repair Shop? Really?
