Horrible. Go Allen Bros if you want something special.
Also look at Fresh Market,Whole Foods and Rouses aged all are good. Too many decent local places rather than ordering any thing from Omaha.

I was gifted some steaks, pork chops, and fries for Christmas. Haven't tried any of it yet.

I was gifted 2 filets and 2 twice baked potatoes for Xmas. The filets were thin, like 1" thick, but they tasted good.

I was also gifted an entire Prime beef tenderloin (not Omaha), it tasted better.

got them as a corporate gift. Not bad, but not Allen Bros. level good either.
Frankly, I'd hit up the local meat markets (Bergerons, Benoits, etc.) For the money, I think a good local steak is as good as Omaha or Allen bros.

I've received them. Not top shelf but not dog food, either.

Excellent customer service. I'd ordered a shipment slightly prior to the day Katrina hit and didn't receive my shipment. They credited me the full price of my order, including shipping.

Snake River Farms is pretty damn fine meat. Maybe you don't have that kind of money to spend, but I'm not sure how one would not mail order steaks from them.

To have Peyton Manning as their spokesperson you'd think they would be better.

My FIL used to send us a box of Omaha every other month. It included a dozen or so potatoes that were stuffed or something another. The wife really liked them as well as the stuffed talipia they sent. The FIL moved a few miles down the road from us last year so now he just shows up with steaks and the fixins every other week or so.

Omaha, even with one of their "special deals", is about $65 lb.. I've had incredibly good aged prime rib from Rouses for about $20 lb.. I have zero conception of why someone would buy this for themselves, as a gift, eat away.

I didn't say I ate it and liked it.

My MIL ordered me a bunch of it for Christmas or my birthday one year, they're horrible steaks. I keep them in the freezer and cook one for her every time she comes to visit.

The beef hotdogs was the one thing good in the huge box we got
