Anyone been to the new Lafayayette Social Club bar & restaraunt yet?

I've been several times. I love it. But I'm young. I'm ok with loud atmosphere's.
Drinks are great. Different. Food is also great IMO. Probably my favorite spot in Lafayette. Although I haven't been to Ruffino's yet

Haa. I've heard from people 40 and older that didn't really care for the place since it was loud and can have a long wait. But I also know several that love it.
I can never describe the "type" of food they have. I always struggle with it.
Here is my review.. Long but I don't care. Also photobucket doesn't like me right now so no pics.. Review
ETA: Here is there menu. Mostly made for sharing, hence the name "social". But they're main entree's are big portion and good.

I've never seen that. I've seen older people wait and get a table eventually. I was also waiting so they weren't being discriminated against.
Just go Count. Go for lunch one day or early at like 5.

I've tried about half of the menu and everything I've had is great. Definitely recommend it.

I have been with my wife and we loved it
The fried chicken is fantastic.
It is one of those places where you go with a group, everybody sits around, drinks and picks at food. It isnt really a standard restaurant so the tables turn over really slowly.
