Have not been but had a lot of contact with owner a d chef during construction.

The menu sounded really good if the guy can execute.

Their sign is terrible and unreadable. Didn't know it was back in the corner until I read this and figured that's where they are located.

It's too small, and half is in a foreign language.

I know a couple of trashy girls who are working there, but that's all I know about it.

Was actually impressed. Went for lunch. Menu had a good mix.

There's also a suckling pig with boudin that serves 6-8 for like $50. I'd go back with a group to try that one night.

Definitely worth trying.

Went tonight for dinner with my wife.

-Got there around 530 PM...we were the only people there. The place is very nice inside, but very, very small. Looks like an upscale sports bar/grill. Lots of employees around, looking bored.

-Service was very good, however. Waiter/hostess were both friendly.

-Menu is not overally big, or exciting, IMO. But they have all of the basics. Burgers, sandwiches, apps, dinner plates, desserts, and a nice bar with plenty of beer on tap.

-I got what I thought was the most exciting thing, the Cochon de Lait platter, served with dirty rice and green beans. It was very good, and hot. Only $13 as well, for a decent sized serving.

-Wife and I shared the Pecan bread pudding for dessert. That was also very good, but a little on the small side.

Overall, I would give it a B, at the least. I will surely go back.

Nice review. Thanks for doing it. Lots of folks look for decent food at moderate prices.

Anyone else been lately? The suckling pig option sounds cool.
