I fish down there and need a good place to eat. It was on TV last night and looked pretty impressive.

I'll second that. They have excellent fish specials as well. The kibbeh and grape leaves are my favorite apps. Do yourself a favor and order a grand marnier soufflé for dessert.

Mazen's is legit. Good rack of lamb and fish dishes.

Mazen's is great, however La Truffe Sauvage is my favorite in town.

Never had a bad meal at Mazen's. I dined at Sauvage recently and am eager to return.

La Truffe is the best restaurant between New Orleans and Houston.

I've never been, but I have a cousin who works in the kitchen and he can cook.

Tell us how you really feel about it. You really haven't had better in Lafayette or BR?

Well, I'd put Latil's Landing on par. Nowhere else in BR or Lafayette.
