In town for the weekend and wanting to pick up something I can't get in TX. Any recommendations?

Drive around and look for Ghost in the Machine. If you can't find it, you're not trying hard enough

And also, look for Nola Lowerline in BR.

You really think there is ghost in the machine still available? what's the best place to look besides callandros?

Also, I'm looking for bottles they I can take back, not draft.

Stuff from Parrish, Nola, great raft. Besides local stuff, there isn't too much that you're going to get that's better than your average Texas selection. I commute back and forth between the two states and I mostly just buy in Texas and bring to BR.

Stuff from The Bruery. I know a fresh batch of Sour in the Rye just hit.

If there is anywhere that still has Ghost, it is going to be well off the beaten path.

Thanks for the info. I've had all the 6'ers from parish and am not really into sours unfortunately. Does Bruery have anything else good?

I'll look for that NOLA though. I've only had Hopitioulos and their brown.

That's too bad. That's the one thing you typically have a better selection of in LA.

The Bruery has other good stuff that isn't sour, but I'm not really sure if any is on shelves right now. Most of the limited Bruery stouts aren't released to distribution.
