Who did you talk to at robert? A random person?

I didn't get their name when I called, but it was whoever typically answers in customer service. My buddy called the same day I bought some and they told him they didn't have it. I was in there the next day buying groceries and two people were checking out with it. He went back in person that day and got it no problem.

I wasn't trying to bash Robert's in particular, it is my regular store and both instances very well could have been a honest missunderstanding. I am in there every other day and buy much more then just a 4pk of Ghost once a month. I was just using my experience with them as an example that it's not always best to just call and ask, you will have more success if you actually go in to the store.

Really the best way to go about it is to develop a relationship with the liquor manager/stockers at your local places like Roberts. If they know you and know you are not just coming in to buy 1 4pk of Ghost and leave they will probably make sure your taken care of.

Yes I do, I enjoyed GITM but the rave about it on here is pretty extreme for what it is.

Im not saying you are, but i get the sense alot of people are saying this now because they feel like they are expected to. It used to be the best DIPA i had ever had, definitely not anymore

It was going head to head with Pliny the younger on the west coast a couple months ago, so I'd venture to say you're very much in the minority.

To each his own. To me Its a malty, bitter, dank mess... No balance at all... It used to be much better and the batch you used a few minths ago was probably better as well

No to mention, the bottle i opened yesterday was undercarbed. That could be due to a bad cap or something so ill hold of judgement there

Nobody said you had you agree with me...

There is a chance the bottle i opened yesterday was bad. The fact that it had such low carbonation makes me think it could be

Well boys,

Finally got my hands on some from Rouses in the luckiest way possible. I was checking out this morning with a sweet black lady that I've gotten to know over the years, so I asked how quick it took the Ghost to sell out. She looked at me and said, "baby, follow me"

Well she shut her register down and sure enough there was a four pack at customer service. I asked what happened, and she said she had a customer earlier in the week come buy 8 packs, but his broke arse only had enough money on his card for 7. So she spared the forgotten pack for whoever asked first

So which one of you hoarding shitheads is such a broke dick they couldn't afford 8 packs?

I know. I am trying to wrap my head around the fact someone literally spent their last dollar to buy 7 packs of Ghost

Taxi drivers don't make much money baw. Give the guy a break.

And I'm glad to see some of the pretenders that have been buying Ghost just to say they beat someone else out for the rare checking out on it. More for those of us that know what we are getting.
