Does it work as well as advertised? Seems legit to aid with cleaning up lump and improving airflow.

Sweet. I think it can actually take the place of the cast iron fire fire grate. Mines always getting clogged up

You would still have to clean out the firebox though wouldnt you? Ash is still gonna fall through that like it does the stock setup i would think

Would be ok if you were not using the firebox divider. Looks interesting.

on occasion. But if you take basket and shake it off in yard, you'll have clean lump and way less ash on bottom to clean.

I can't wait to see you hit that pile of ash with your mower

ok I'll dump in the pond. It won't be much ash at all if you do it every cook.

I bought one and it was delivered last week...saw it in another thread on this board. Have used it once, can say it definitely accelerated lighting. I took it out and shook it yesterday, plenty of ash and bitty pieces fell thru. Since you can grab it and lift it all the way out by the handles, it is much easier to remove the ash at the bottom.

Nice. I haven't read a negative review yet. Easy cleanup and faster lighting due increased airflow. I'll be ordering soon.

It will be a lot of ash for me since I normally just use Kingsford.

Curious as well if they make them for the primo xl. Seems legit.

I have one, two actually for my Broil King Keg and love it. They have several models for different brands of kamado cookers. I got mine about two years ago and it definitely makes lighting easier with better efficient air flow and given a shake over a trash can(when cooled of course)makes for less ash buildup in the bottom of the cooker. You can't go wrong with them. Order direct from the website and tell Chad(owner)Nathan sent you. Lol..... He's contributed several over the last two years for an event I organized. Great guy!

BTW, that grate lifter he makes is pretty awesome too! Makes it easier to handle a hot grate with food on it or not.

I don't like the flavor of lump. It takes a bit more but doesn't bother me. My wife doesn't like it either so there is that also.
