Anthony's on Government is now open

Saw the "We're Open" sign on the door and went in this afternoon. They transferred all the decor, lots of owner family around, same great food. I'm really glad because this makes Anthony's easily accessible to me on a weekly basis.

Is it the same menu that was at the old location, just sandwiches and the spaghetti lunch special, or did they expand it? I can't wait to check out the new place. May go for lunch tomorrow.

Same menu. It's not wide ranging, but what they do, they do well.

They showed a nice lunch crowd there on WAFB news tonight. They did a feature on the new restaurants opening in Mid-City

Glad to hear, and I agree. I was hoping they wouldn't get a larger menu and just stick to making the best damn sammiches I have ever eaten.
