I have a free Saturday afternoon and night there...possibly a half day Sunday or Monday.

Staying downtown at omni...would be nice to find something close to do or eat???

Snack bar at the NASCAR Hall of Fame? While there, don't miss the special limited-time exhibit Wrecks: Dramatic Crashes of NASCAR. LINK

There's a taco Mac in Charlotte. Go there if you enjoy beer.

Yes, you're screwed. No good food in a major city like Charlotte.

Godspeed.

Steakhouses: Ruth's Chris, Del Frisco's, BLT Steak, Captial Grille, Fleming's Prime, The Palm, Sullivan's, Morton's

Other: Barrington's, Aria Tuscan Grille, e2 Emeril's, Bistro Le Bon, Carpe Diem, Copper, The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar, Blue, The Fig Tree, Zebra, Georges Brasserie, Halcyon, Mimosa Grill,King's Kitchen,Paco's Tacos & Tequila, Vida, Cantina 1511, Bonterra, McCormick & Scmick's, New Zealand Cafe, Pisces Sushi

Dives: Pinky's, Growler's Pourhouse, Cabo Fish Taco, Philospoher's Stone, Lebowski's, Bad Daddy's, Lupie's, The Burger Company, The Liberty, Fran's Filling Station

To be honest, there's tons more...those are all more central to downtown and I probably left out a bunch. We get a bad rap, but we have a pretty good selection of restaurants and some hot women.

Stay away from the westside...and the eastside. Downtown and the southside are the best parts of town.

Right if it has 25+ reviews and better than a 4 star you're usually good to go

Best chef in Charlotte works at The Mens Club of of Tyvola. I have been there and they actually have couples eat there who are not interested in the 'show'.
Food prices are reasonable. Drink prices are stiff (pun intended).

Though technically a chain, Ri Ra is a cool Irish pub with great food and beer.
