There aren't many places there that qualify as expensive. Open a phonebook. Pick a chain at random, more or less.

Spirits is solid, though.

normally I'd recommend Spirits in these threads, but the last 2 times I have been the food has been absolutely horrible, although the atmosphere and beer selection is probably the best in Alex

I'll still recommend:

If you don't mind the 15 minute drive, janohn's in Boyce is always solid. I'd say entrees can range from the $20-$40ish range.

Embers is also pretty good.

Khans on MacArthur isn't bad...it's Mongolian grill style. Fill up the bowl and they cook it.

The Softshell Crab BLnoT is awesome, and the build a wrap is great, but overpriced.
