Cure is fun. Kind of pretentious.

Like the patio setting of Bouligny, Delachaise and Cellar Door. Rooftops at Ace or Hot Tin?

All this ^^^^^
Cure will have the best cocktails. I like the set up at Delachaise a lot.

Ace might be kind of a shite show if this is for tonight as white linen is tonight. It's been pretty damn crowded on weekends anyway from what I hear.

Loa in the International House hotel. I go there pretty much every time I make a trip to Nola.

I love cellar door for classic craft cocktails. Can get pricey but you get what you pay for.

Cellar Door is the answer. Cure is cool, but the service sucks. Better order two drinks because you'll be done with the first one and sober before they come around asking if you need another.

Delachaise Is cool. Great wine by the glass list. Great atmosphere and close. Winner

I'm glad I'm not the only one that experiences this everytime I go.

My problem with Cure...

Me: Can I get an Old Fashioned (insert generic drink)

Server: We have something really similar that we make

Which leads to me regretting whatever BS infused drink I order.

I've probably had about 25 old fashioneds at Cure over the years. Never once have I been steered away to order something else. Be a little bit more forceful in your ordering.
