Two of us headed to NOLA...will be arriving on a Wednesday and leaving on a Sunday. Looking for places with a casual, laid back atmosphere that specialize in seafood and creole/cajun fare. Would like to keep dining options near the French Quarter or Downtown/CBD and keep dinner entrees in the $25-$30 price range and lunch in the $15-$20 range. If I have to venture out to Carrollton or Uptown for a good meal I don't mind but it is not preferred. So far the nice fellows on here have suggested Cochon and Peche and from what I have gathered these are must try places so we will go there the first 2 nights. Needing help the other 2 nights and also lunch options. TIA

This should turn out much better for you. These folks like to offer help, and they really like to argue. So you'll get good recs and possibly an entertaining debate.
Report back after your trip too.

KPauls or NOLA in the Quarter. Luke in CBD. Clancy's Uptown is great.

She she's offers the finest tuna in town. It's very rich.

Like I said, I'm not a local... but I'd recommend Luke, Domenica, maybe Coops for dinner. Johnnys po boys for lunch. We don't spend a lot of time in the Quarter when there though.

Your first thread had atchafalaya and Clancy's on it, but they're both uptown. Never been to Clancy's, but I don't think I'll ever convince my wife to get brunch from any place other than Atchafalaya again. It's outstanding.

Atchafalaya and Clancys are both excellent. No reason to go away from them.
Cochon Butcher for lunch.

Based on your description, you would enjoy Bon Ton Cafe downtown. Only open on weekdays at lunch and dinner.

If you are in town for business, and on a schedule, you probably would want to plan out your food outings. Go to the better places at night because they do not want to sacrifice quality by speeding up service. Go to the lesser places at lunch. You may want to see which ones take reservations.

WTH. I've had that many times without issue. Geez... You must have tummy issues.
Crawfish bisque is great too.
