Abita Tour recomendations

I'm going to the Abita brewery later today to do the tour and drink a few beeers. I know it's not Parish, Nola, or any other trendy places but it's local and something to do. I like Abita but will have to admit, it's been some time since I had anything new by Abita
What should I look for? What product do they have there that I may not have seen out on the shelves?
I hear the new shotgun double IPA is actually good.
Any good Stouts?

I'm not a stout guy but I've heard good things about there Machiatto stout. I actually enjoyed the brewpub more than the brewery, might want to check that out.

A group of us would drive from LSU a few times a year and get shite housed at the tour. Not sure if they still let you have free reign of the bar after the tour though.

They do 6 or 7 kegs of one time brews at scales and ales. They make some pretty creative shite, but I couldn't tell you what's on tap currently. Grab a cup and try it all.

The shot gun is pretty solid. just don't expect that you're getting ghost on tap and you will enjoy it.

Yeah man. Back in like 2002 or so we went with a big group. We got there early and just stayed in the tap room until the tour. I left the tour multiple times to fill up. They then said we could stay until about 4 even though the tour ended at 2. We found a round area outside for flip cup. Playing with full glasses of turbo dog led to some issues. good times.
