I appreciate his love for the hot dog, but he and I wouldn't have gotten along if he refused me ketchup for my ball park frank.

I don't get why he would do that?
Reminds me of a bartender I used to work with. If a male ordered a "girl" drink (mimosa, fruity stuff, etc) he refused to make it and tell them to try again. If they ordered another fruity drink he would bring them bourbon on the rocks.

The second time he did that to me as a paying customer at a bar, he would sport a busted beak for a few days.
