A few weeks ago, I cooked an 8 course tasting menu for 10 people. It was fun.

Shameless dick waving thread. I'm pretty psyched that I pulled this off. I only remembered to take one picture...was kinda busy.

The menu:

Cheese board w/ pickled watermelon rind, pickled caramelized onions, tomato jam, and garlic confit

Roasted beets, microgreens, daikon shoots, chevre, and a jalapeno lime vinaigrette

Roasted gazpacho w/ garlic crostini and gremolata

Lamb sliders w/ cherry tomato relish and roasted red pepper aioli on flatbread

Onion tart (One of the three things I didn't make, so I don't really remember what was on it to be honest)

Watermelon and mint granita with a shot of vodka

Rabbit ragu with fresh pasta

Chocolate lava cake with a trio of sauces (dulce de leche, blueberry merlot, and whipped cream)

Bruh, I didn't sit down for 3 hours. I think I ate a whopping two of the things that I made. It was...hectic.

And I loved every second of it. I miss cooking like that.

I'm messing with ya Schwartz.

The menu looked awesome. Must've needed two days minimum to prep.

Luckily, I was smart enough to plan it out so that most everything could be prepped well in advance. The pasta and flatbread doughs were the only things I really had to do "from scratch" that night.

Also, I forgot how many fricking bones rabbits have. Such a pain in the arse to break down.

That is an ambitious menu for sure. Congrats... I wish you had pics. I can see where you would be too busy to really enjoy or take pics.
