The obvious places are August and Stella.

Bayona is romantic.

August tasting menu.

Only thing that I think could be a more "memorable" evening is finding a chef's table somewhere.

Galvez is a great place for you. It's the old Bella Luna. It has a very beautiful view of the Mississippi river and a pretty romantic atmosphere. I really enjoyed the food the last time I was there. Mussels and Caldo were my favorite. I don't think you will be disappointed.

I would call Antoines and see if you could get one of their private dining rooms. Doesn't get much more romantic than that

Who does that other than Commander's? And can you even do that for a table of just 2?

I would recommend Bayona or like GW Fins, antoines, arnauds, etc.
