Phils shouldn't be anywhere near that list IMO.

I like thrillist.

Hard for me to comment on that article as I haven't tried a lot of those places. But they got the GOAT burger right, LPG. except it says only served at lunch...I've ordered it to go for dinner 2-3 times.

Yeah the only ones I've tried are Gullos and Spirits.

I was just excited to see Gullos on there. Most people in Shreveport haven't even ever heard of Gullos, so it was cool seeing it listed on Thrillist. Easily the best burger in Shreveport.

I ate a burger Franks over the holidays. It was pretty bad. Cooked well done when I asked medium. The bun made the burger entirely too salty. I couldn't even eat half of it.
Will give Gullos a try next time I'm in town.

Not a bad list from the ones I've had. I've heard good things about others on the list. Phil's doesn't belong and I can't comment on Gullos. New Orleans could be 5 feet under water and I wouldn't go to Shreveport.

Phil's Grill? (insert shaking head emoticon)

Judice- yes!
Company Burger- yes!
Spirits- yes!

Those 4 are the ones I've had from the list.

Where is Port of Call/Lakeview Harbor???

Wow, Ellic made it.

The new Cafe La. on Jackson where Suburban gardens was has a really good basic burger.

I say better.... but i still like PoC and LH's burgers. I like the options Phil's gives you. Id put them both in the 2nd tier of burgers in the NOLA metro area

no. people hate on POC because it's a tourist destination. They still put out a good burger. It's not top 5 in the city, but if an outta town friend was dead set on going there, I would have no issues with it. I like them.
