Tomorrow at Jimmy Johns, they are selling $1 subs for customer appreciation day at participating stores. So far I saw Lee Dr., Perkins Rd., and Coursey Blvd. in Baton Rouge. Check out the link for details.

Went last year. Absolute shite show. People lined up out the door trying to buy lunch for their entire offices. Go before or after lunch hours.

seems like 1 sub per person would handle that, no?

They are going to run out of the lettuce they use to hide the fact that they only gave you two slices of ham as thin as the homel packet types from Walmart

They probably will still pull a profit off of selling for a dollar

No thanks, I have two pieces of bread at home, store bought cheese and two slices of turkey left in the fridge. I'll save my $1

Now if this were Firehouse or Potbelly-different story

Downtown Birmingham is similar. I was thinking about it, since a sandwich for a $1 is great. I kept walking and am currently enjoying some T-Bone pizza from Trattoria's right down the street.

My time is worth more. Waiting for a dollar sandwich ups the cost of the sandwich.

If he one in Alexandria has ten times the number of people as normal in line, it will still have zero.

two slices of turkey

That's twice as much as you need to make a JJ sandwich.
