For me it has to be shrimp and grits.
Although I've never tried it. The 2 do not appeal to me at all together.
Seperately I'd eat them any day of the week.

What food or meal is it that you just don't get?

Mine is fish tacos. I've had them several times but I just don't get the appeal.

Fried shrimp. Really, shrimp anything. Blahhh. The texture kills me. I can force down boiled shrimp if they're REALLY spicy, but that's it.

Pho. Everybody loves it, and I'm just meh about it. I don't dislike it, but it's not something I'm going out of my way for.

 so you don't understand a dish because you've never even had it. Shocker

I second this. I put it off for years because they sounded gross, didn't dig them at all when I finally had them. People went nuts over these things when they first started popping up around Louisiana.

Similar, mine is fried scallops.i like scallops plump and a bit juicy, sometimes with a sauce. But I think they are wasted fried and dried.

Boneless wings and wings that have been cut into pieces. I like whole wings with bones.

Skinless fried chicken. I like the skin more than chicken.

I like shrimp and grits. Like grillades and grits, too.

Chicken and waffles. Why combine a finger food with a utensil food? I like both things, but the logistics are hard to overcome.
