Pictures from Morgan City (New pics pg. 3)

For those that want to see how it looks down here. Actually these are from the Berwick side. Whenever I say Berwick no one knows where I'm talking about. Took these about an hour ago. All but one of the gates on the floodwall are closed and they aren't allowing anyone through so I couldn't get all the shots I wanted. I'll take more later this week as the water gets higher. Kinda hard to see the gauge, but it's at about 7.5' right now.

Thanks for the info and sending prayers and hoping for the best scenario for you all. I lived there as a toddler and my father was a welder on a shipyard, I think it was.

Good trying to get everything straight with the house so we can move in. Will be happy when all this flood mess is over, got ordered out to work traffic at Veterans and Fig where they're detouring traffic so they can build a levee along the Canal that runs along LA 70.

thanks..I thought the launch would be deeper than that. It was a little higher in 08 I think...We still launched with the water like that. When picking up the boat and strapping it down on the trailer a school of tiny bowfin swam by all balled up.

The last one is Judge Robertson's old house at the corner of Justa and Lake Palourde in lakeside...According to the Corps thats the lowest point along the lake front in Lakeside.
