I'm curious what techniques you guys used.

I can see the subtle differences in all 3, so I'm curious how you all approached.

I used the healing brush tool, mostly.

A couple of other guys had already done an excellent job of
removing the car so I decided to be a smartass and crop the
picture just for fun.

There are a few ways to do something like this if it's a
small(ish) object you want to remove. Like Harry said above,
you can use the Healing tool/brush, or if you have a lot
of landscape to work with, and a small object to remove
sometimes you can copy an area from another section and
play around with it by blurring the edges and maybe even
smearing it lightly.

The best way is to use a Clone Stamp Tool if your program
has one. I use that a lot with excellent results. I vary
the size of the brush to keep from getting a lot of repeated
patterns which are easy to spot, but varying the size
of the brush and mixing the spots you are cloning, will
make it disappear really well.

That's precisely the way I did it.

This is how I generally approach shopping something out of a photo, as well. Just curious what other approaches there were.

I don't know if I have a "healing tool." I use GIMP. I don't always know the names of the tools though, ha.
