This is a old photo of our daughter Deidra, and my mother-in-law, Mary. Both of them have passed away. It's the only decent picture of them together we have. It has been in a frame for nearly 10 years and it has become one with the frame. Trying to remove it would destroy it. I took a picture of the picture as it is in the frame and if someone would be good enough to clean it up so we can make a new print of it my wife, and I would be eternally grateful. TIA.

Wow. I have a daughter in first grade. I couldn't imagine that. I think I would literally just shut down. Very sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss. We'll get you taken care of here. Just give us some time as we're going to want to get this one done as perfectly as possible. Is there a time in which you need this done by?

Here is a starter for anyone else who wants to pick up things from here. I did a good bit, but I have to stop for now.

we appreciate it. not any big hurry. my wife just noticed last night that the picture had attached itself to the glass in the frame and is afraid that if it got knocked off the nightstand and broke the glass that the picture would be lost. so just when anyone has the time it's all good by us. thanks again.

Hey You

I was working on it (some more) at the same time. I took a good bit of the discoloration out from Grandma's shirt. It still needs more work but at least we aren't in a rush here.

i have a smug mug account and would be more than happy to print the picture on metallic paper once its done and send them to you. I find the metallic paper brings out flesh tones really well.

Here's my attempt, working from Pain Trains last edit. I tried to add some color and definition to your daughter's face. It was a little washed out from the flash. I also removed the red eye. I wish there was more I could do. I can't imagine anything happening to one of my girls. So sorry for your loss.

Nice work. I just cleaned up some of the black marks on Grandma's neck and some less noticeable marks on the faces.

Thanks and great work also. My last edit, I removed a slight discoloration behind the mother in law's back and ran a couple of processing filters. Disregard these edits if you don't like them, a lot of this is personal preference.

Also OP, if there are any specific changes you want, I'm sure someone here can oblige you.
