Word is he is going to try and practice this week. There is small hope for this week, but decent hope for next week. Good luck.

He may practice this week, but there's really no need for him to return this weekend. The Pats are moving along just fine without Gronk, so I imagine they'll sit him until the NFL playoffs start.

I agree. Even if they do play him next week, which is doubtful, I would imagine it would be on a limited basis just to get him back in game-time rhythm. As a Gronk owner, I doubt he leaves my bench the rest of this season.
