I understand last year overall, he was a bust. But he was injured the first half of the season, was slightly over weight, and the offensive line was compete shat the first 10 games.

He's shed weight. The qb situation with Trevor as a starter isn't much worse than Peyton last year. The offensive line is looking much better. There's really no competition for snaps with booker still looking like a project and hillman on the roster bubble. And the defense is still ridiculous meaning they'll be in every game and able to run a ton.

Also lets not forget that kubiak is the head coach, one of the few who loves bell cow rbs, and he's produced 8 top 12 scorers in the last 13 seasons. I guess being a let down last season has made people doubt his elite back ability but from what he showed at the end of last season, and the contract they gave him I don't get why people aren't higher on him.

To me he is a steal in the late 3rd round.

because it was the same buzz around him last year and he was awful.

The broncos have a lot of other backs, people are afraid of a repeat and or RBBC

He was taken in the 2nd in my big money league. He held onto that guy the entire year though so it's a bit of comedy too

I'm saying there's not nearly as much buzz around him this year as last year. No one expected the o line to be so shite last year and you could tell he wasn't the same player when injured the first half of the season. Now the o line is much better, I don't think the back ups are any where close to as good cj is when he's healthy. And kubiak will pound the football all season to take pressure off Trevor.
I think he finishes top 10 with the potential to finish top 5. I see all these other running backs going ahead of him that have way lower ceilings and I think cj has a pretty high floor.

But he wasn't awful. He had an ankle and toe injury early last season that hampered him

Gotta check the tape when he was healthy last season

Also Kubiak when he feeds his RB in reference to Anderson's production when he gets 10 or more carries in a game

Anderson is only 25 and is getting paid. There is no RBBC in Denver

Agreed, he averaged 6.35 yards a carry from week 8-17 and rated out as the 2nd most efficient back behind only AP.

One of my favorite values in all drafts this year.

All in.

There is no RBBC in Denver this year.

CJ is the guy until proven otherwise.

Booker?

Anytime a RB is drafted in the 4th rd or higher, you have to figure he'll be a threat to take the starting job.

I'm loving grabbing CJ in an auction for $26

Denver matched a pretty big offer to keep him in Denver and that offense will run through him. This dude has the potential to lead the league in rushing , we saw in the playoffs what this guy can do when fed

After a slow start to his season, Anderson averaged 6.4 yards per carry over his last 11 games, to lead all running backs.

Considering Ronnie Hillman is terrible, I'd say they addressed an important depth issue with Booker

If Anderson goes down, you don't miss a beat with Booker

My concern with Anderson is the Broncos offense as a whole underperforming. If they cannot sustain drives or score TD's, Anderson will suffer. If their defense gets injuries and they start playing from behind, Anderson will suffer.

He didn't get more than 15 carries in any game during the regular season last year even when Osweiler was starting and there is a rookie RB they seem to like. He is still going in the mid 3rd round (30 overall - Fantasypros), so it's not like there is a huge discount.

It's tough to judge players and teams on preseason but as a whole the Denver offense looked pretty good in the games I watched. Anderson looked above and beyond better than booker. It doesn't matter where you draft someone if they aren't ready or aren't performing well and booker hasn't shown much over the preseason. Booker is going to be a project for at least the first year.

And even if the Broncos have 2 major injuries on defense they're still going to be a top 3 defense. They're so good at every position and they have depth.

Cj Anderson will get 20+ touches a game this year and is in better shape than he's been in the past two years. He is a huge discount as a mid to late 3rd rounder.

Da frick you talking about? CJ will be a stud in 2016 especially with the offense they want to run this season.

Obviously you're a little slow and haven't caught up to all my favorites in 2016

Would you prefer Booker or DeAndre Washington (OAK - RB) was being more valuable in a standard league?

TIA
