I think that has been a trendy thing to say, but could have happened in some games (Saints game for sure). I mean they weren't blown out every game.

Interesting stat I saw on Dez. He is entirely dependent on the TD to remain a top 10 WR.

Something like 15 games out of the 80 he's played he has gone over 100 receiving yards.

If he doesn't break 10td's in a season he won't be a top 10 WR.

Dez averaged 82 yards per game in 2012-2014. That would be tied with Antonio Brown as 3rd best receiving yards per game ever. Every WR to ever play

It's not "trendy" at all. It really happened. I went through the game logs a few weeks ago. Go look for yourself

also had stock in Robinson last year on 3 teams. I watched a bunch of their games. It was a godsend for them to play from behind so much

Robinson led the NFL with 18 targets from the 10-yard line and in. Those targets accounted for a league-high 81.8 percent of Robinson’s total red zone targets, which also tied for the 4th highest total in a season since 1999. Robinson's 10 receiving touchdowns on those targets were tied with 2007 Randy Moss for most in a season over the same period.

If there is regression it won't be because of the overall success of the Jags, but because of how rare that stat above is.

Just did.

Week 2 6-155-2. W
Week 4. 4-80-0. L 13-16
Week 5. 7-72-2. L 31-38
Week 7. 6-98-1. W
Week 9. 6-121-0. L23-28
Week 10. 5-51-1. W
Week 13. 10-153-3. L 39-42

Those games they either won or were right in it.

Depends how you quantify garbage time.

20% of Bortles yardage came in the last 5 minutes of games where JAC was down two or more possessions

25% of his TDs came in that time

They were down two possessions at some point in 8 of their games

Not being a dick but how do you find those #'s? Not the down 2 possessions, but the other 2 you point out.

so they won 5 games, plus 2 more that were close. I think my point still stands.

and if you read my posts again i wasnt dogging Robinson in the slightest

The # of pass attempts in that window divided by his total # of pass attempts

The # of TDs thrown in that window divided by the his total TDs

It's actually

17.5% of his pass attempts
18% of his yardage
23% of his TDs

In "garbage time"

I think he meant where did you find the info that broke down the stats by time of the game. I'd hope he knows how to do simple percentages.

The jags were w in 1 score 2 other games V's Atl and SD and Robinson had a TD that I didn't post.

I know you weren't dogging him, but I still think that the game flow argument being used with him is becoming a trendy thing to say. I had him too last year, and yes they were down a lot, but not getting blown out where they threw every play. Jags were 12th in passing attempts right behind Cleveland . 3 less attempts they'd be 15th.
