Smith is the best. but they see him as a change of pace.

I'm leaning towards staying away from that backfield for multiple reasons. But if I had to pick one, Id take Coleman even though I'm not a fan of his current draft-day cost.

you think Freeman or Coleman are worth a roster spot? (10 team league, no ppr)

I think both are worth a stash thru the preseason to see which one emerges.

I think Freeman will be the "starter" for the first half of the season at least. However Coleman will get some early down touches and Smith will have his random 80 yd TD's.

ive got a feeling this'll be one of those backfields where whichever one i drop will end up being the full time starter. and in the mean time will take up 2 spots on my roster. Just like baltimore last year.

Tevin Coleman, but the Falcons will be airing it to Julio the majority of the season.

Bad secondary with a offense built on the pass will result in a good season for both Ryan and Jones

I think youre right about that. Im expecting a monster year from Julio if he stays healthy.

I wouldn't touch anyone there until a few more games are played. I don't see any of them being more than a bye flex guy.

I am starting to think the Joe Maddon quote about Schwarber rings true with Antone Smith. "Maybe the reason he is so effective is because of how we use him." Smith does look amazing with limited touches.

I think Freeman will have the most carries, but Coleman is their best back. As a whole, the shift to a zone-blocking scheme should help IMO.

I think it's Coleman hands down if you're basing it purely on potential. If he puts on 15-20lbs by the time next season comes around I think he'll definitely become the featured back while Feeeman comes in as a change of pace back. I'd like to see a thunder and lightning type approach similar to what Cincinati is doing, but Hill/Gio are so much better than Coleman/Freeman and they have a much better OL to run behind. So for now those two will probably consume 75% of percent the run game, and Smith will get what he can till there's an injury.
