When to draft a defensive player in ppr idp league.

12 team ppr. We added one defensive player to the roster this year. What round do i start looking to draft one?

I'd probably start eyeing one around the 7th-8th. Get one of the better MLBs to set it and forget it.

if you see a few other people go after defense early don't take the bait unless you really want a certain player that is available when you pick.
I play IDP in one league but its an auction draft. I typically drive up the price on players like Watt or maybe like K.Mack this year.. we'll see.

okay, thanks guys. My first time doing this. We are doing just one player, im sure i wont be one of the guys taking one first, as i am always one to wait on qbs late also. Just wondering when to expect them to start falling.
