Gotta be right after Gronk IMO.

I kind of like him above Olsen.

Its a risk with his injury history but they guy's talent and consistency is off the charts. Also gets a ton of targets, and with Cousins emerging he could be an absolute monster.

4th round?

Thoughts?

Better have a good back up plan for when he gets hurt in week 3.

late 2nd early 3rd Round IMO. Dude really won me a championship. 27, 27, and 33 in the 3 rounds of the playoffs.

I get that he's a fantastic talent, but that seems a bit high. I would think more like 3rd to 4th.

Only knock on him but its a major one.

If he gets another concussion he might sit out for a long time considering how many he has already had.

He was amazing for me down the stretch, but I don't think I could draft a TE other than Gronk in the first 4-5 rounds. Hell, I won a league with Kyle Rudolph at TE this year.

I could, being strong at the TE position gives you a big advantage over your opponent considering the scarcity of elite talent at the position.

Not really. Since there are so few of them, the TE is basically like kicker. You either have a good one or one you're ok about it. I never even end up with Gronk because he typically goes before I'm comfortable taking a TE because of what I have to give up in order to do it.

I'd much rather target a few guys late that have a chance to break out. Sometimes it works, Eifert this year, and some it doesn't Rudolph last year.

Only if you hit later on a RB or WR because you skipped drafting a more sure thing when getting that TE.

Taking a TE early is a huge risk because of the talent available later to fill your RB/WR spots IMO. If you are in a snake draft and take a TE in early rounds at either end of the snake, you can severely hamper your team IMO.

Eh, unless Gronk falls to me at a favorable spot, I am probably waiting until RD5 or higher to draft a TE.

I think it just depends on how the draft is going is who is being taken off the board. Reed is a great talent. Gronk and Olsen were taken in early rounds in my league this year. Reed was like 6 or 7th round(put someone dropped him after the injury and I snagged him).

After this monster year he will prob move up to the 3rd or 4th rounds. In our PPR league, the most valuable are top RBs that are also used heavily in the passing game, next is the top WRs. So early rounds for us is going to be RBs and WRs. I think I would take him in the late 3rd, early 4th but all depends on who's left on the board IMO.

I'd have a hard time going anything but WR/WR/WR in PPR next year. Julio, Juice, and a combo of Diggs, Aiken, and Cobb basically carried me to a championship. My RB crew was extremely weak.

You don't think they resign Cousins?

How could they not?

Redskins don't have the cap space?

It's a bad idea to go into a draft with a strategy like this...the players available should dictate what positions you draft. More times than not I've been able to find that WR3 really late into the draft.
