6-7 is better. Higher winning percentage.

Ties count for .5 a win, so they have the same win percentage

if he has two ties, then wouldnt that equal to 6-6, or .500

You don't count losses in win percentage though I don't think
re: What's a better record 6-7 or 5-6-2Posted by DallasTiger45 on 12/1/15 at 1:57 pm to Lester Earl
Yea, Gyno is right and I was wrong. Evidently ties are counted as half wins and half losses, so his adjusted record is 6-7 as well.

you're right, it would be 6 wins but the total games still dont change.

Yes
6 wins in 13 games for both. Thus the same %
Thoughts?

It's wins over games played, so my thought is you're correct.

Soooo it'd be a tie? Or more
Wins equal better record?
Wins equal better record?
re: What's a better record 6-7 or 5-6-2Posted by GynoSandberg on 12/1/15 at 2:22 pm to UptownnMike
It's dumb to use winning % then say wins equal better record
Head to head matchup between the two owners or points scored

It's a tie in the standings. Check your league's tie breakers to see how that will get broken.

I'd rather a loss than a tie...
