What do you do when a trade rape is allowed to go through?

In one of my leagues (14-team), a 2-7 team where the owner has played people on bye weeks just traded away:

Allen Robinson
Mark Ingram
Dez Bryant
Derek Carr

to a 6-3 team (also the league manager) for:

Peyton Manning
Brandon Cooks
Ronnie Hillman
Cecil Shorts

There weren't enough of us that vetoed it, and even though a couple of us raised hell before and after, it still was allowed. What are yalls recommendations on how to deal with this?

That isn't trade rape. That is collusion.

I'm friends with most of the guys in the league, some of them are too nice to say anything (or don't care a ton) and no one wants to be "that guy" who complains, but I don't see how this is anything other than collusion.

Thankfully I'm beating the guy in our game this week who got the good players, but its just a load of crap, and that guy has tried to do the same thing before. I've won the league two years in a row, so it's been worth the $, but it might have to be the last year I play in this league.

Teams mathematically eliminated from the playoffs should not be allowed to trade.

Reverse the trade, lock both rosters, and ban both from the league.

What's funny is that if this trade happened at the beginning of the season, it'd be perfectly fair.

Looks like collusion to me. Ask for the two people to explain why they thought it was a good idea.

Did you pay for the league or is it for fun?

If it's for fun I would call them shitheads (if my friends) and just not play next year.

If for money or prizes.....would scream bloody murder.

Problem is commish is the one who got all the good players in the trade.

Happened in my league also. I was very close to dropping my entire roster to the waiver wire since the commissioner and about three others were in on fricking everything up for the rest of us.

Absolutely will not be in this league next year.

We had a guy in the league who also had his wife play one year with us since we were 1 person short. Well every week this douche would make a trade with his wife sending her best players to him for some shitty guys. Me and 3 other guys had to veto every week, but the commissioner wouldn't of let it go through anyway, but he was vetoing as well. It is safe to say that was the last year he played with us and none of his shite trades went through.

Now I've had some trades go through that did get vetoed which was bull shite. I traded A Bradshaw for someone (can't remember who) but it got vetoed that sunday before the games started. I was pissed, b/c Bradshaw was killing it at that point but was never projected for much on yahoo and they had Trent Richardson to split with, who sucked. Unfortuantly Bradshaw broke his neck that week so it ended up being a legit veto but if that wouldn't of happened I think I would of left the league without paying. THese were my real good friends too, which is retarded. I think they knew my team was going to be even more stacked, but that is no reason to veto a legit trade.

Everyone should have vetoed that trade. You're in a league with people that don't care or don't know much about FF.

There are a few people who are out of playoff contention so they've stopped caring.

He did it last year (I forgot about that) and he tried doing it two different times in a league four years ago (one went through, one didn't). I won both of those leagues so I didn't really care, but it just kind of ruins it for everyone else.

Then its kind of your own fault for continuing to play in leagues with this guy when he clearly will cheat and has a history of doing it. That's pretty pathetic really. I would cal lhim out and criticize everyone for not actively caring about this. And if you have people that arent seting there lineups anymore because they are eliminated, then that's bullshite too. Everyone owes every member of the league to put their best roster out there every wk because someone is always depending on someone else to win.

I agree. That's on me. I just forgot about it because I it didn't affect the outcome for me in previous leagues. It did for other people though which isn't fair to them. And only one person didn't set his lineup this week.

The guy who our commish traded with. Some people have crappy lineups, but everyone else at least set theirs. I think people just didn't see the trade until afterward because it went through on Friday. I don't know how they didn't see it, but they didn't. I think I may just offer to take over the commissioner role so that crap doesn't happen again.
