Does this increase Ingram and Kamara's value?
yes, increases both. He was getting about seven touches per game.

This helps Ingram tremendously. He was averaging 10ppg with Peterson

This doesn’t impact Kamara nearly as much as Ingram

What pushed New Orleans to trade Adrian Peterson to Arizona is the team's feeling about RB Alvin Kamara.

and for those hoping for an AP resurgence

quote:

Adrian Peterson Yards After Contact/Attempt from 2007-2013: 3.2 Same from 2014-2017: 2.2

quote:

Cardinals RBs have had to gain 74% of their rushing yards this season after contact. Peterson's gonna need to do a lot of heavy lifting.

Disagree. Y’all talked last week about worrying if Kamara’s touches could decrease back to his week 2 and week 3 touches. Now we know that won’t happen.

I have Kamara and won't him to have an increased role, but I just don't see how his touches were ever affected by Peterson. Their skill sets couldn't be any different.

Kamara gets a few more series. Won’t be just a third down back. Perfect for ppr. Did u see the London game?

I did and I hope he continues to get that many targets and touches. I've also seen Sean Payton completely change his game plan and personnel based on the opponent.

I didn’t say it didn’t benefit Kamara, just Ingram more

Kamara has scored 75% of his fantasy points through the air - that’s still going to be his bread and butter in fantasy and AP had no real impact on that volume

No doubt and that is what had some people skeptical about Kamara maintaining consistent touches with all 3 here. Payton doesn’t have much of a choice now.

Understand, i just much prefer a ppr back getting some series mixed in instead of a pure 3rd down role

Of course

quote:

Alvin Kamara was a 35% snap player while Mark Ingram was near 53% in Week 1-4. Bet it's pretty much 60/40 rest of way with Peterson out.

This lines up w my thinking. Still a valuable role

Ok, so to judge Kamara's value this weekend in a .5 PPR, would you start him over any of these?

Hunt vs Pitt
Hyde @ Washington
Gillislee @ NY Jets
