I have landry. He's going against one of the worst passing defenses

I know Landry is good for 5/50. Watkins has a new QB who's a runner and a new coach who wants to run it 75 times a game.

Landry but he'll be TD dependent this game. I expect the Fins to get ahead and let Miller loose in this one. Regardless Landry is the better play

Dolphins added 4 new players to the mix- Parker, Cameron, Stills, Jennings. To assume he's good for anything heading into W1 may be suspect. Target distribution could go a lot of different ways

Outside of Watkins just being a vastly superior player to Landry, Bills will have to pass to keep pace with Indy. Dude can take a 5 yard pass and turn it into a 60 yd TD at the drop of a hat. I don't think people realize how good Watkins is

You assume the Bills will be playing from behind but this is the same Bills defense who shut down Rodgers last year. Bills could play ball control and rely on Shady and Williams.

Like I said Landry is TD dependent anyway so it could go either way. Dolphins offense should have more scoring opportunities

And the same bills defense that lost to Oakland or the same bills defense that NE dropped 40 on in buffalo. Has no bearing in this game regardless

September in Buffalo is not December in Buffalo

Indy fav on the road with a relatively high total. Someone is scoring points in this one. Indy in a blowout of Bills keep pace. Regardless Watkins will be involved

Exactly

I'm throwing him out there. If BUF proves inept at getting him the ball he goes to the bench

would really need to see the rest of the team and matchup.

did your opponent get out to a big start on Thurs? are you playing in a standard league? maybe lean to Watkins, who has a higher ceiling & bigger boom potential.

is the score starting at 0-0? is the rest of your team pretty solid? are you in a PPR league? maybe lean toward Landry

Yea that goes back to my oringal point of saying Landry running away

There are some variables and instances where I'd go landry

I think I'd go Landry. I have Watkins in one league and I hate that it's Taylor's first start and Vontae Davis is probably gonna shadow Watkins all game
