Right now I have two QBs and two DEFs on my roster. I had picked up and started Carson Palmer weeks 1 and 2, but now I have no need for him so I'm planning to drop him. I also pre-added the Dolphins D last week from free agency, knowing that I'd play them this week, so I have to Ds rostered right now and obviously going to drop the other one.

So, I'm going to have two open spots. I have the 4th waiver priority. There's no obvious pickups on my waiver wire - and no one that I would start this week. Top adds available: Chris Thompson, JJ Nelson, D'Onta Foreman (not a Miller owner), Jermaine Kearse, Allen Hurns, Brandon Coleman.

Basically, these guys would be fine bench adds, but none would be played for me this week or on a weekly basis. I'm wondering, do y'all think its worth using a waiver add on any of these guys, or should I just let waivers pass and pick some up in FA instead, so I can keep my waiver priority? Standard League.

Thanks in advance.

JJ Nelson is the most interesting add due only to overall production...but I don't think it is sustainable.

I would keep priority and rape the FA market bright and early.

Would save the waiver for later and just see what clears through. Also, I think I would rather a speculative add for Perine over Thompson if Fat Rob us expected to be out. Perine is the one who would take on that role with Rob out, imo.

Thanks for all the advice. That's the way I was leaning too.

Also, Perine is already owned in this league, but Thompson is not.

I'm in on Nelson. Going back to last year he's had 8 TD in his last 11 games. No more Mike Floyd, no David Johnson, John Brown banged up. I think Nelson is a top 30 WR with upside this year.

If you are weak at WR I would claim him.
