FAAB waiver system. I have $1 left and we don't allow free pickups.

I have Eifert and Vance McDonald at TE. Both questionable with concussions. Obviously if both can't go I will have to use my last dollar. But would you risk using the last dollar to pick up Miller, Ertz, or Rodgers to play over a possibly limited McDonald or Eifert (with no Dalton)?

The risk is that Wilson and Gostkowski are my only QB and Kicker. So in the case that either get hurt and can't go in the championship week, I would have to leave the position empty.

No use saving the $1 for championship week if you have to leave the TE spot empty to get there.

If possible I'd wait until Sunday morning and see who is active.

Do you still have to use $1 after they clear waivers?

Our last waiver period is 11am Sunday. I'm definitely using it if both are out...

The question is are those waiver guys that much better of a play than an active but possibly limited Eifert/McDonald? The chances Wilson or Gostkowski get hurt are low.. but if they do get hurt I'm fricked for championship week.. but I also have to make it to the championship for it to matter anyway...

Yes. Always costs $1 to add. No free agents, everything is waivers. We do waivers wed, thurs, fri, and sun morning.

If they both are going through concussion protocol, I'd imagine an active player is a healthy player and they'll play as such.

Gut says to wait, at the very least a few days. Sometimes guys in the concussion protocol get cleared a few days early

How did you not save a few bucks just in case? I hope you got some good players.

Hah. Well I had $5 going into last week and the Ingram owner who is also in the playoffs had $3 so I figured it was worth it to grab Hightower for $4.

First year of FAAB. It's a pretty competitive league and money went fast.

2 of the 3 teams left besides me spent their entire faab. One lost Rawls and I'm shredding the waiver wire. I have bids for Brown, Robinson, Bolden, and Jones. Releasing Ajayi, Coleman, Stevie Johnson, and Hillman. I'd be thrilled if they picked up Hillman and started them vs Pitt and or Cincy
