Would be a bush league move. If this game was yesterday you wouldnt of thought about benching Carolinas D. Dont be that guy.

Ha its true...

I was up by 1.2pts in 1 of my leagues this weekend. He was done and I had KC D vs Denver left last night. I started them. Going against the best offense not just in the game this year, but best offense ever thru 11 weeks or whatever it is. S

If you were the guy down by 3 or whatever and your opponent benched his D, you would think that guy a douche / bench. FACT. Dont be that guy.

I say you play to win the game, but better than Herm Edwards did as a coach.

Funniest one was week one I think. My buddy is up 1 point going into the Giants game with Wilson only player left. Wilson goes for -2, he loses and is now sitting 6-5 after this week with a bleak outlook at making the playoffs. He would be 7-4 otherwise and much closer to playing for money.

FF is cut-throat

Ha yea its cut throat but makes you look like a huge douche / bitch haha.

Free to do what you want. All I know is I would be pissed if i was going against a guy that was up by 1 or 2 and benched his D. Since I dont want it to happen to me I dont do it to other people.

Just very bush league IMO. Again, if this game was played yesterday, you wouldnt of benched them.

I don't care how I look to other owners, but those missed points could affect something down the line.

Retard. You play to win. Not a bush league move.

I'd prefer to collect my winnings and buy the owner a drink.

You don't think WRs in the NFL drop a ball and pretend they caught it? Is that bush league too? You don't think a QB in victory formation with 1:30 left on the clock is a douche move? IE, give the guy a chance?

You won the game, sit your players and bask in the win.

Ha yea you plan to win your fantasy football game. Benching your D that plays on Monday night due to the fact that you are scared they might get you (-) points is indeed bush league move. More of a bitch move than bush league. You wouldnt of thought of benching your D if they played yesterday.

To each his own. If you want to look like a douche and a bitch and "secure" your win go ahead. Im not stopping anyone from doing it. But it is indeed a bitch move.

In my league if you intentionally bench a D to secure a win you lose 10points, the most a D can lose when they play. If your league has no problem with it and youre truly scared you might lose go ahead and bench them. Still a bitch move. But a wins a win.

drizztiger... thats in real football , not fantasy. Irrelevant.

There was thread 3 weeks ago where someone asked if he should bench his kicker being up 1 point. The opinions were pretty split but he ended up playing him and then lost.

That is an argument for which there is no rebuttal. It's infuriating when said in debate.
