I have zero RB depth in a 1pt PPR league (Rob Kelley, Hyde starting, Gio Bernard, and now Chris Johnson on bench) - I lost Woodhead to injury. I have OBJ, Crabtree, Tate starting, Corey Davis and Eric Decker as bench depth, lost Allen Robinson to injury.

I have been offered Montgomery for OBJ straight up. I countered to try to get Hunt instead.

What are y'all's thoughts? Anyone's opinion would help. TIA.

ETA : Currently 2-0

Anything on the WW?

Can you flip Crabtree of Tate for a T2 RB instead?

Figured I can get a serviceable WR off of WW if I need to patch something together. Currently 2-0 and the waiver's in this league are set by record, not by activity. Everything gets vultured up so trading seems like my only option.

I have Hunt and I wouldn't trade him away for Beckham. Montgomery is a PPR machine, but not sure if he's good enough to equal Beckham. But, in your case, you really need a rb. If you're 0-2, you obviously need to make a change. If not, I would try to keep what you have and work the WW or find another trade partner.

Yea - that's why I countered with Hunt because I feel as if I'd be coming out a little on top.

He hasn't responded but realize I may need to give him a little something more being how hot he started - like swapping a 14 or 15th Rd draft pick for his 17th or something like that.

So:

OBJ for Hunt is a YES in your opinion
OBJ for Ty Montgomery is a NO

No way I would do that for Montgomery. Try to flip Crabtree off the big weekend he had may help you.

Appreciate the advice. I may tell him I'd only do Montgomery for Crabtree OR Hunt for OBJ

The real issue I have with trading Beckham is that his value is at an all time low. I just think Montgomery is the best you're going to do. If you go by performance, Montgomery is the better player, in the better offense and has a guarantee of touches. Problem is, by week 6 or 7, you may regret that trade.

And this is just one person's opinion. I would get many more if you're unsure yourself. That's a big move for someone that is 2-0.

Thanks for your opinion. I think you're right about the possible regret.

I think he has to do something this week if Fat Rob ends up not playing. Maybe Chris Thompson off waivers since your ppr could buy you another week

No serviceable RBs at all on waivers. It's a 12 man league and everyone stashes RBs. Best available is D. Foreman and J. McKinnon

Have you thought of going after a lesser known rb like Chris Carson or Kamara or someone like that? Someone that has upside, but maybe hasn't broken all the way out yet. Crowell might be a buy low candidate.

Might be able to get Gillislee without giving up too too much.

Not really, he's 2-0.
Hunt is not a bad deal at all if he can get that. Otherwise, just stay the course

Jump all over this if possible. I just can't imagine it happening.

This is what I was attempting to do before going the WR1 for RB1 route. I just don't have much to offer trade-wise, everyone in my league only likes big blockbuster trades for some reason.

Thanks for everyone's input. I'm going to try to see if I can make a deal for Hunt. If not I'll just have to play Gio and pray for the best I guess.

Pick up foreman. He should already be rostered in a 12 man league

There has to be better avenues to getting a serviceable back than trading OBJ. Don't get fixated on getting one of those two guys, look around the league for good trade fits
