Currently the weakest area of my team is TE. Looking at making a move for Gronk. Want opinions on trade possibilities. 10 team league. Standard scoring, QB=6pt td pass

My team
QB- Prescott, Palmer
RB- McCoy, Gurley, Ingram, Thompson
WR- D. Thomas, R. Matthews, N. Agholor, A. Cooper, J. Landry
TE- Fleener (put in waiver for Hunter Henry)

His team
QB- Cousins
RB- J. Howard, D. Freeman, T. Coleman, T. Cohen
WR- D. Baldwin, D. Amendola, TY Hilton, R. Cobb, W. Fuller V, W. Sneed
TE- GRONK

If you get Henry, don’t worry about moving assets to get Gronk. Henry is starting to be the guy there

Based on your rosters, you can't make a deal involving Gronk that makes both teams better.
Maybe after you get Henry, and he performs well in the next week or two then you can package him. But as it stands now, any fair trade on paper would probably hurt your team overall

There's no trade you would do for Gronk that the other team would take, IMO. Target another TE like Ertz or Brate

Thanks guys. Auction waiver (our first year doing this), so probably going to up my bid for Henry and ride.

I'll let you know what the other team proposes though.

So I did wind up getting Henry.

Adding another caveat, another team just offered Davonte Adams for Ingram. Anyone think Ingraam will have last week success? How about AR being out affecting Adams? If this goes through, could possibly work a trade for Gronk and add depth to team.

Should've added that our flex is WR/TE only, so my reason for targeting Gronk is more as WR3 flex type player (2 TE start).

Thoughts on all these scenarios?

Don't trade Ingram away.

Denver has been generous to TEs (I guess by default since they destroy WRs), hope Henry plays well this week and try to package him or get Gronk, but like I said earlier in this thread. I just don't see something that he needs that you can offer him without affecting your overall team

That Evan Engram paintrain is still rolling

I would make a move on him if I didn't own him. Sterling coming back IMO only helps his cause.

Dude is gonna be one of the few TEs in the league that can expect around 10 targets a game, every game.

This is sound advice. Dependent upon the league set upou are looking at essentially the same point totals on the season. Maybe 10-12 point spread from top to bottom.

I'd be careful going after Gronkowski. It's one of the biggest things I absolutely hate about fantasy every year. Gronk can never stay healthy but every single person who owns him acts like he's Le'Veon Bell or Antonio Brown and wants a king's ransom for him. Last year, I tried to trade for him and I was sent these offers in two different leagues.

I receive Rob Gronkowski and Tyrell Williams

I give Julio Jones, Mike Evans and Jordan Reed

I receive Rob Gronkowski and Frank Gore

I give Ezekiel Elliott, Michael Thomas and Greg Olsen
