I would say no. You potentially upgrade a WR spot, but downgrade in too many other places. You'll be kicking yourself too if Austin has a great rookie year.

I think I would rather have the second roster. So I would take it and start Austin over Mendenhall at flex.

I do not like giving up Witten and McFadden bc of some miracle he does not get hurt this year.

With McFadden's line getting banged up and the high likelihood that he gets hurt, I'm thinking it's an upgrade at WR and RB, or at least taking MUCH less risk at RB. I can live without Witten and I have SD def on the bench, which is projected to score more than CIN this season. Between GB and SD i can play matchups on D.

The Raiders are horrible and will face 8 man boxes with a terrible o line and terrible qb. Amendola is a giant upgrade.

Trade accepted.
Upgrade at WR and RB (IMO due to less risk)
Downgrade at TE, but Fred Davis or Julius Thomas could blow up
Gonna play matchups between GB and SD def all season.
I think my team lost some ceiling but gained a lot of floor. When McFadden goes down, I think I'll be the one laughing all the way to the playoffs. If he has a monster year, I'll be hurting but I feel so much better about my team as it is now.

I just fixed my 2nd and 5th round stretches to get Brees and Witten, while getting to keep Brees and upgrade where I was weak because of picking him.
Wilson and Amendola were taken in the 3rd and 4th rounds respectively. While Lance Moore was taken in the 7th and McFadden in the 3rd.

Overall, I think I like the trade for you, but I don't know if I'd say you raised your floor that much. I'm personally not big on Wilson this year. Andre Brown was more impressive last year and will be on his heels this year for sure. I think Wilson has some great upside, but if he starts fumbling (again) or can't produce, I don't think he has a very long leash.

I would do it just because I think David Wilson is going to have a solid year. Darren McFadden is too injury prone and the Raiders just always seem to struggle moving the ball.

That's really fricked up. Trades shouldn't be vetoed unless there is a good reason to suspect collusion or a trade rape that throws off the balance of the whole league. I wouldn't play with those assholes again.

This is a league with some of my best friends too. We all know each other very well and everyone is friends.
I posted asking for an explanation when I got the email that it had been vetoed. No one has said a word yet. I am not mad at anyone but I do think I am owed a reasonable explanation as to why a fair trade got vetoed.

3 years ago I was invited to play in a league with a guy I know and his friends. I made a legit trade that made my team better and marginally helped the other guy. The league vetoed it and they wouldnt tell me why. I dropped every player the site would allow me to and benched the rest of my team and told them all to go frick themselves. Never again.
