I was just offered Jennings and Jones for Monte Ball. Thinking about taking it since it seems he wont start many games this year.

I have:
Colin Kaepernick, SF QB
Adrian Peterson, Min RB
Matt Forte, Chi RB
Antonio Brown, Pit WR
Andre Johnson, Hou WR
Larry Fitzgerald, Ari WR
Kyle Rudolph, Min TE
Bears D/ST D/ST
Matt Bryant, Atl

Montee Ball
Chris Ivory
Tavon Austin
Ahmad Bradshaw
Jared Cook
Kenny Britt

I'd take it. Then try to flip a receiver down the road.

Take immediately before he realizes how stupid that trade is.

Only if you have dead weight on your roster you feel good about dropping.

I've always said that judging a player based on the first game of the season is a good strategy.

dude the fact that you had to start a thread about this trade to decide to take it makes me lose faith in humanity

8 team leagues gonna 8 team league I guess

Honestly, you're better off stashing Ball until he takes over than taking 2 marginal WRs. It's not like you need any of the players bc your starters are going to be stacked but Ball will carry more value for you down the line. Obviously he isn't going to carry the ball in a game where manning throws 7 TDs. You gotta be patient

What's it say to you that Knowshon played majority of the snaps after all the hype Ball received in training camp?

I don't think they trust him. I heard he isn't a great blitz picker upper. Knowshon is. As long as Knowshon stays healthy and doesn't start fumbling, he'll stay on the field.

He's a rookie in the first game of the season. Honestly, what did you expect?

Exactly what happened. He rode the bench the majority of the time, while the guy they trust is on the field.

Snaps don't really matter to me. Ball ended with 1 less carry.

Suggs and Dumervil may have had more to do with Moreno being on the field.

The main point is, Ball has more upside than the 2 WRs. None of those guys are starting for him regardless. Might as well stash the upside

You just don't like James jones and his league leading 14 TDS last year.

I would counter with a 1 for 1 trade. Except for Rudolph, I wouldn't want to drop anyone after accepting the trade. He's just going to pick up whoever you drop, so even though the trade looks lopsided right now, it's essentially going to be 2 for 2.
