I have Powell, I would be receiving Mariota.

It's a 2RB,2WR,1FLEX. Half PPR league
12 teams

I only have Palmer, which could be a top 10 QB... just not sure.

What does the board think?
TIA

Roster is:

QB Carson Palmer, Ari QB
RB Ezekiel Elliott, Dal RB
RB Carlos Hyde, SF RB
WR Julio Jones, Atl WR
WR Allen Robinson, Jax WR
TE Rob Gronkowski, NE TE
FLEX Bilal Powell, NYJ RB
D/ST Jaguars D/ST D/ST
K Sebastian Janikowski, Oak K  Q
BENCH
Bench Emmanuel Sanders, Den WR
Bench Ameer Abdullah, Det RB
Bench Mike Gillislee, NE RB
Bench Doug Martin, TB RB  SSPD
Bench Duke Johnson Jr., Cle RB
Bench John Brown, Ari WR
Bench Zay Jones, Buf WR

I didn't even look at your roster or the scoring system. The answer is yes and HURRY.

I'd do it bc I don't really like Palmer and I think Jets offense is going to suck.

Dont do it.

Powell is going to be really good and get a lot of trash points. It will add up. Your RBs are deep enough to where you can see what you got in Palmer, if he isnt good you have Martin, Powell and possible breakout guy in Abdullah

If you want Mariota now sell him one of your bench RBs

I'd trade Powell for Mariota in a heartbeat. Mariota has the tools and weapons to be a top 5 QB this year.

Why do people just assume Forte is going away? He's old, not dead. The Jets are going to give him the ball. Powell is overvalued and at the end of the day this is still the Jets offense.

Ya and so does palmer. He's a year removed from being a top 5 QB.

Forte played in 14 games last year and had 218 carries, he has nothing to do with it. He's also old and prone to nagging injuries

Powell was RB16 in PPR and caught the 4th most balls out of RBs, and ran for 700+ yards on limited carries. In split duty. He's playable as is and his ceiling is immense with a forte injury

It's already an incredibly uneven trade. I can't imagine why the Mariota owner would go for a lesser rb.

You're pretty off on this. Powell's ADP is in like the 7th round. Mariota's is in like the 10th+.

Wut

Dude could've up and drafted mariota after taking all those RBs, I presume.

Your first mistake is putting the QB on a pedastal. Outside of the top 5 QBs last season, you're talking a difference of 32 points between the 6th best QB and the 16th best QB

Your skill players matter, whether it's in your lineup or down the line. There is no reason to trade Powell right now unless his QB was like Brian hoyer

ETA: and I like mariota, don't get me wrong. This guy should've just drafted him late. His RBs will be an asset down the line in a 12 teamer

I've agreed with basically everything that you've posted so far this season that I've read, but we disagree on this one.
