Someone in my league wants to trade me LeSean McCoy for Rob Gronkowski.

My current RB2 is Pierre Thomas. My backup tight end is Greg Olsen.

A couple of things to keep in mind:
1. This is a PPR league, so Thomas is actually a top ten under these settings.
2. This is a keeper league, and Gronkowski has excellent value since I was able to draft him later on.
3. I clinched a first round bye, so schedule only matters for weeks 15 and 16.

At first, this seems like a no brainer. But after thinking about it, I can't help but feel like it's really only better in terms of name recognition at running back. The biggest plus I see is that McCoy has a great schedule. In the end, I'm not sure the difference in points will make it worth giving up a great keeper in Gronkowski.

Any thoughts? Am I being insane?

Biggest part of this, IMO.

You get McCoy, who you won't be able to keep next year, but give up Gronk, who you would. Not a good deal.

Who is your current RB1?

Counter with offering Olsen for someone else (obviously you won't get McCoy for Olsen).

He's actually a big Gronkowski fan and wants to try and get him so he can use him as a keeper. He does need a tight end, though, so it's worth looking into if he does make the playoffs.

Thanks for the advice.
