I am a huge supporter of trying to grab a RB as early as possible. I am picking 3rd tonight and I'm assuming Bell and D. Johnson will go 1 and 2. I like McCoy and a few others but am I over thinking it by grabbing him at 3 and passing on Antonio Brown? I feel the chance of getting a bell cow RB in the 2nd or later will take me getting lucky. Any thoughts?

PPR league which is my first go at that. I have been in another league for 12 years and we never did PPR.

ETA: Nevermind Leveon fell to 3

I was going to say Antonio Brown is the obvious choice, but you edited and said you got Bell at 3 which works great for you. Who went second?

In ppr, Brown is much better than shady.

David Johnson went 1, Antonio went 2

So far I have Leveon, Amari, Cooks, Woodhead, Emmanuel Sanders, Spencer Ware, Paul Perkins

Plenty of serviceable QBs on board. Didn't know we started 3 WRs, 2 RBs, plus a flex. I always tend to load up the bench and play match ups or have insurance in case someone goes down. If a good TE is available, I may go that route. I really like Bennett in Green Bay

I actually like your team a lot. You are going to need to keep a good eye on the waivers to better fill that flex spot or have one of your bench guys outperform his draft position, but that's normal stuff anyway. Any champ team has to have some breaks like that.

Somebody got a steal with Shady at 10 IMO. Your team isn't bad at all.

Appreciate the feedback and the love. A few other guys ended up with teams better than ya boy's in my opinion. Looking like a decently competitive league. I'm always a hawk on the waivers and will continue to play that game. Cam was my first non WR/RB taken and it was an accident. I got caught up juggling between a few other players, panicked trying to lock in one, and timer got me. Even as a saints fan, I can live with it.

Now on to my big money league with my old college boys. This is the one I care about. Already have D. Johnson as a keeper for my 4th round pick (waivers were good to me two years ago)
