Throw the regular season tiebreaking rules out the window, they no longer apply...it's playoff time! Simply put, if there's a tie in a playoff matchup the higher seeded team will advance. That is, unless your commish changes it. Hopefully you're on good terms with them (and if you aren't, start being as nice as possible) because your commish has the ultimate power to change who advances in the playoffs using the "Edit Playoffs" page. NOTE: In LM Leagues, the League Manager has the ultimate say on which teams advance using the "Edit Playoffs" page. Each league may establish their own tiebreaker system with the League Manager advancing the team which wins it. If your league uses its own playoff tiebreakers we highly recommend pre-defining them and posting them prominently on the League Office page. As an exception, "Most Points from Bench" is an option only available for grandfathered Custom Leagues which used such a tiebreaker rule in the past season.

Yep. Its a dead even tie. I have more points on my bench, but I was the lower seed. Sounds like I'm fricked.

League manager can override, so maybe it can go by the next best "FLEX" player or something, IDK.


Or even best QB-RB-WR. Either way, it's better than seeding making the difference.

That's not better than seeding making the difference. Seeding is the difference normally bc the bench is not for scoring players and taking an arbitrary position and comparing it is absurd. Seeding is best bc it is a reward for having a better regular season

If I go 13-0 in a season and my opponent went 8-5, we met in playoffs first round as 1 and 4 seeds, my team is clearly better and deserves to win. You could compare any position and one team will win some and the other team will win some. And comparing my bench when I have Gronk out this week (let's say he didn't end up playing this week) to someone with a healthy bench would screw over the person waiting on Gronk to come back next week and dominate
