Not for much longer. I get the worst team in the league in 31 (arguably), and you get Roll.

Braun and Heyward are absolutely killing a team that I thought was LOADED in the preseason. KILLING ME!

Getting Price and Hill back should be a big boost to my team.

I don't understand why Beachy or Medlen would move to the pen. They should be two of the braves three best starters.

ETA: I know they need bullpen help, but you can't take the ball out of their hands every five days.

The Braves thinking is this

Minor has been the best pitcher...can't move him
Hudson is a vet...you need a vet in the rotation, would be disrespectful to him also
Maholm is a also a vet...but more importantly has never pitched out of the pen and they hate his stuff there
Teheran needs to stay at a starter...he's also been excellent lately

which leaves Medlen and Beachy, who both worked out of the bullpen in the minors because they were both projected by the organization as bullpen arms in the past. If they have to move someone temporarily they feel safer moving someone who has done it before

My thinking is Maholm doesn't start for you in the playoffs anyway, and that's what matters, so move him...but that is thinking like a fan

My logic is frick Maholm.

Minor
Beachy
Medlen

That is a strong trio.

I agree with you. Maybe they could move Maholm for a reliever by the time Beachy is ready. On a contender like the braves, you have to put your best rotation out there.

Agreed. Move Paul for a solid bullpen arm.

The problem is the team selling bullpen arms are looking for prospects. Otherwise, the Braves would look good in a Jesse Crain or Mike Adams.

I've got a logjam at 2b.

Anybody want Seager or Carpenter?

Same problem at 1b.

Will move Laroche, Morales, Lind, or Blanks.

I can package two or three together if anyone needs a few bats.

I'm looking for a long-term solution at 1B so those 4 really don't interest me all that much.

Yeah, they are all 4 better than what you have obviously. But they would be better suited for someone who needs help right now, not someone trying to rebuild I guess.

Yahoo has been really shitty lately also

Yahoo has been terrible this year. Hopefully they can get their shite together before next year or maybe we can move the league elsewhere.
