I'll still go back to tdbbl. A couple of people thought it got boring. They went completely overboard with changing the league and now we have more people that think is boring than we did last year

You are right, it shouldn't have to limit the responsible owners

But in order to compete I'm now going to have to go and seek out these type of draft pick trades just stay compete So I guess for me, that just isn't why I play in these leagues. That's not fun to me bc anyone can do that, it takes zero skill

ETA : re: TDBL
This league will end with the same fate, I'm comfortable predicting that

How are we supposed to know who the bad owners are if you don't let them make whatever trades they want?

Good question

Pretty easily

It's easy to document things like not setting lineups or responding to trade offers. You can track it all but no one wants to hold others accountable. They pay for their team can manage how they want!

Rick doesn't respond to trade offers. We've known this for 9 years. How should the league punish him in your opinion. Personally I just trade with others.

Also who is going to monitor the average response time or times responded percentage?

Not it

I'm not talking about tracking every move

Rick leaves an offer on the table for days. A commissioner asks, "hey Rick why don't you answer trades?" He either responds with an explanation (or he doesn't more than likely) and vows to be more involved. It happens a few more times and you ask him to resign

Same thing for lineup infractions.

Write something into the constitution, idk. Get rid of some of these guys and the league will improve

So you would be ok with me or whoever just removing people from the league as we see fit?

I just said write it into the constitution dude

"You miss setting a lineup 5 times in a season, you're gone"

Do you not believe that's grounds for removal?

Ok I'll put that in the constitution. Is 5 the magic number? And again who's keeping track?

Not me, guess we will have a missed lineup committee

And you don't respond to 3 trades, you're also out. Is that an immediate dismissal followed by the league taking over that franchise or do they finish out the year?

So you admit there are shitty owners in this league but you're going to mock the suggestions you asked for?

I just don't know how you want me to enforce these things? And who's opinion of shitty owners do we use to kick people out the league? I dropped Thor on the last day of the playoffs last year to try to win.
I'm sure people would call me a shitty owner for that. Would I be on the chopping block?

It takes more than what any 1 person can do

If someone doesn't set a lineup or respond to trades, the owner that notices speaks up. These are quantifiable things that can be referenced checked. It's sad you'd have to do this instead of every owner just being a adult

Like trading, nothing can become of dropping a guy like Thor.

I play an in abnormal amount of leagues. These issues (not setting lineups, not responding to trades) happen in every single league I've ever been in. No matter what we do it's not going away. So two owners get kicked out, it will just happen again with two new owners

Your main issue was with draft pick trades and now we're on to kicking people out for not setting a lineup. I think we need to focus
