You can have "active management" and not stream. And the games played always even out. Chasing down cats by streaming just takes away from the allure of a dynasty for me. I have had lost cats to people streaming and I'm sure others have too. It's dumb; owners just throwing a guy in there when a cat is close- meanwhile I don't want to drop anyone because I'm trying to build a team, which is what I thought everyone would be doing in this league?

Another thing, You go to see who is available and like the first 10 guys are all on waivers. It's like that almost every day.

Knat and Matty V have two of the top teams and are at the bottom of moves made. That how I imagine a dynasty league being played. Build a damn good team and not have the ability to stream shitty players to pad counting stats

I don't have a problem limiting pickup to 3 per/week. If we wanna decrease the limits on total starts to 46-48, that's cool.

But like Big Gyno says it doesn't give this league a dynasty feel to it the way it is.

Doesn't need a major overhaul, but a tweak or two may help.

I have 16 dudes going tomorrow. I have to figure out what cats I wanna be strong in, and sit the other players. It is active strategy. But if you don't get the production out those dudes, do you just go streaming the ww and the end of the week to help catch up on cats you missed out on? Is that how a Dynstaty supposed to work?

Another idea is to add a couple more utility spots.

Days where there's a full slate of game you people miss out on 4-6 potential starts.

But you don't think that not really strategizing your starts. That's just starting everyone. No?

is there a way to make it to where if you pick someone up, you have to keep them for a week?

No, it's doesn't need a huge overhaul. The streaming isn't really a huge deal, just annoying and not what I was expecting. I figured those "throw away" roster spots were going to be for owners to sit on young players (that's what the big rosters were advertised as being for coming in fwiw).

I'm really enjoying the league regardless. I just think it would be better served for teams to play each other more straight up than by streaming. Save that shite for TDBBL or Pels Talk

Personally, I think it's important than each team has best chance of reaching games played limit...however that happens.

If you can start 16 dudes on a Monday, why not.

I can see this too.

I'm not dug in for or against anything. Im having fun. But I think it's good to start up this dialog.

I hear ha gyne. And agree for most part.

At the end of the day, I'm trying to win cats. Playing straight up this week would have put me at a 6 game deficit and a 6-2 loss.

Streaming has also cost me guys like Whiteside and Aldrich. Guys I was first to pickup but had to drop.

shite, if I still had George and embiid on my roster, I would have only had like 33 games played this week.

More I think about it, why not have like 6 utility spots?

Most teams that only got 44-46 GP last week lost 5-6 starts on heavy NBA nights.

No. Same roster size.

ESPN doesn't make you have a complete lineup, so you could still bench guys you didn't want to start.

I'm bitter bc I have deron, Kevin Martin, and Muhammad all out. Stephenson too until a few games ago.

I have an available spot to stream but I just don't want to do it bc I have integrity

I've always hated how rostering injured guys penalized you in hoops.

We can vote to increase IR spots and util spots.

More IR spots will take another 5-10 guys out the FA pool too.
