I'm not in favor of adding another scoring system to this league. H2H worked just fine. We just need to tweak starts a little bit to make it easier to get max games as well as force teams to strategize.
We drafted and made trades up to this point based on H2H. Let's leave it that way.

How would you draft differently when the goal is to accumulate more stats than your opponent over a week long period vs a year long period?

For starters I wouldn't punt cats. I just don't understand what the need is for a scoring change. Everything worked great. We had one issue and that was teams not being able to hit max games due the the schedule and players resting for playoffs.

It's not a scoring change per se
You'd just be breaking off the roto leader a small prize. You still play H2H and reward the H2H winner and playoff champion

Increase IR spots to 3 or 4. Decrease game limits to 45 or so. Decrease weekly acquisitions to 5. It doesn't have to be so fricking complicated.

Must say, I like the concept of roto paying out over H2H champeen. Eliminates the "unfair scheduling" people love to bitch about.
I don't think it's possible to pull off though. Priority is to set your lineup to match/beat the strengths of your opponent. If I have 3s and steals locked up going into Sunday, I'd probably start guys for rebounds and blocks. If I'm worried about roto standings, I pile on steals and 3s and that might cost me a few cats vs my opponent.

I'm not angry. Apologies if that came across the wrong way. It just seems like we are making this harder than it has to be. This is a good league that was setup really good from the onset. It needs some tweaking, not an overhaul.

Yea I thought of that. Figures it all equals out anyway since any owner who pays attention would normally play a h2h matchup that way Just a suggestion, though.
On another note, I don't understand the combativeness of owners in these leagues these days when it comes to discussing rules and the like. Sheesh so touchy
