Someone dropped T.Y. Hilton in my league and I'm going to put in a claim for him. Would you rather have Torrey Smith or Justin Hunter. I need to drop one or the other. My head says keep Smith, but my heart says keep Hunter. Any advice?

I would keep T Smith. Dumpster fire going on in Nashville.

Yea I'm kinda leaning that way myself

They have to make a move from Locker. He's looked really bad this year. Last ranked QB per PFF.

i was in the same boat as you, I had torrey smith and justin hunter. I decided to drop Hunter. Torrey smith isn't too far away from being dropped too if he doesn't improve though.

Don't do that. He was a missed read by Locker from having a 95-yard TD pass against Cincinnati.
Locker missed him several on reads and throws last week. The guy is getting open.

I don't doubt he's getting open, but it takes two to tango. Locker is bad.

He's open.

The 3:50 mark of the second quarter.
Tennessee is backed up inside its own 5-yard line.
3rd-and-long. Cincinnati is a single-high safety look with man underneath.
Hunter is lined up to the left of the line and Delanie Walker to the right.
Hunter runs a post pattern and Walker is running a short post.
The Bengals safety jumps the short post route before Locker even begins his throwing motion — leaving no one deep to help the corner covering Hunter.
The ball is dislodged from Walker and intercepted by Geathers.
Locker is like a deer in a headlight right now.

Justin Hunter is a decent qb away from double digit fantasy points every week.
But nashville does not have a decent qb.

This has been my world. I just dropped Hunter for Jordan Matthews.
A good receiver with a good qb is better than a great receiver with a bad qb in a bad offense.

There are exceptions

I would say J Gordon is an exception.

Good info on Hunter. I was thinking of trading him, didn't know it was QB play bringing him down.

Just because Tennessee's offense is a disaster right now does not mean it will stay that way. The NFL is so week to week. Look at two weeks ago, it seemed like Dallas went from a disaster to 2-1 and Minnesota began the year with a 28 point road victory to utter chaos.

It's not the offense; it's the QB. That's harder to fix than the playcalling.
